COVATA BARREL DRAW – PROVISIONALLY SELECTED CUSTOMERS

Housing Authority (‘Authority’) wishes to thank the 261 applicants that applied for 101 available residential lots in Covata, Labasa.

The 261 applicants have gone through a rigorous, screening, selection and objection process as per the Lot Allocation Policy 2023 of the Authority. Of the 261 applicants, 164 applicants ‘qualified’ for a lot in Covata, Labasa meeting the criterion being: First-time homeowners, Fiji citizen, combined annual household income of $50,000 and below, demonstrated the ability to purchase a lot and build a house and above the age of 18 years.

The Authority is pleased to announce the ‘provisional’ award of a lot to the 101 applicants in Covata, Labasa following the Barrel Draw on 02 May 2024 from the 164 qualified applicants in the presence of the Fiji Police Force, officials from Ministry of Housing and the Leadership Team & Staff of Housing Authority.
