The Housing Authority (HA) is pleased to announce the availability of 52 residential lots for first homeowners in the Western Division. To be eligible for a lot in Tavakubu, you must be a first-time homeowner, a Fijian citizen with an annual household income of $50,000 or less, able to purchase the land and build a house and be 18 years of age and older.
To express your interest in the Tavakubu lots, submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) and required documents through the Housing Authority’s Online Portal https://portal.housing.com.fj/ following the user guide provided on the website. The following documents will need to be submitted for evaluation: HA Standard Statutory Declaration (This is available on our HA website), Voter ID or copy of Passport bio-data page, Latest Payslip stamped by the employer, If owning any business or are self-employed, attach a Notice of Assessment for the year 2023, Birth Certificate and Marriage Certificate, TIN (Tax Identification Number) letter or Fiji Revenue Customs Authority/Fiji National Provident Fund (FRCS/FNPF) joint card and your latest FNPF Statement.
In addition to the above offer, there are 17 high-end residential lots on offer in Tavakubu to those earning above the $50,000 income category and these lots will be sold later via a separate EOI process.
For the existing 57 sitting tenants in Tavakubu, the Ministry of Housing and Housing Authority jointly had a consultation session with the sitting tenants and will use the HA Lot Allocation Policy for Sitting Tenants & Informal Settlers.
