Housing Authority is pleased to announce the ‘provisional’ selection of qualified applicants for allocation of vacant residential lots in Mokosoi, Pacific Harbour. These ‘provisional’ qualified applicants were selected as per the Housing Authority Lot Allocation Policy 2023 criteria being:

First-time homeowner, Fijian citizen, Combined annual household income below $50,000, Ability to purchase the land and build a house, and Above 18 years of age.

Public Objection on Provisional Qualified Applicants

Housing Authority invites the public to submit objections to any of the ‘provisional’ qualified applicants listed below if they believe, the applicant(s) do not meet the lot allocation criteria. An objection must be based on the listed Lot Allocation Policy 2023 criteria as above and supported by evidence (if available).

The provisional selection of qualified applicants means they will go through the objection process before they enter the final list of qualified applicants eligible for a residential lot in Mokosoi, Pacific Harbour. These provisional qualified applicants will go through a ‘barrel draw’ as only 34 residential lots are available in Mokosoi, Pacific Harbour and a greater number of successful provisional qualified applicants.

How to Submit an Objection? 

Email your objection letter with supporting evidence (if any) to objections-mokosoi@housing.com.fj by 4.00pm on Wednesday, June 5, 2024.

In the email subject line, include the Principal Applicants EOI No. and Applicants Name(s) (e.g. 21 & JOHN DOE).

What Happens Next? 

Following the objection process, the provisional final qualified applicants will go through a transparent barrel draw for one of the 34 residential lots in Mokosoi, Pacific Harbour.
